Wednesday Night Fellowship

Screen Shot 2018-10-24 at 1.11.40 PMGet through the mid-week hump with fun, friends, and wisdom coupled with great food and music! Join us for our Wednesday Night Fellowship and see first-hand what you've been missing! Meet up on Wednesdays in the Head Center, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., as we aim to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit while solidifying your one-on-one connection with Jesus and each other! Each meeting begins with a "love offering" light meal. After the meal, two separate classes will be held from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

The two parallel class tracks meet in two different rooms:

In the first track, meeting in the Head Center, Pastor Phillip offers a study of Brother Lawrence’s book “The Practice of the Presence of God.” This week, the group will study Brother Lawrence’s Spiritual Maxims. A maxim is an expression of a general truth or a rule of conduct, much like a proverb. One of Brother Lawrence’s maxims states that the practice of the presence of God is the training of the soul to find its joy in His Divine Companionship. And what joy that will be! This material is covered in pages 61 through 84 of the book. A free copy of the book is available at

The second class track, offered in Room 123, by Dr. Grace Eves, is entitled "Who Are You Listening To?" The class will touch on health-related topics such as identifying common toxins in your diet. The group will also explore how to strengthen your personal walk with Christ.

Childcare will be provided for each session, with participants needing to pre-register by calling Zunilda Mederos at the Church Office at (305) 445-2578. For more information, please contact Ed Baker at Stay connected to your FUMCCG for more updates and a stronger you!
