Sunday Mornings: Trinity Bible Study Class - "Invitation to Romans"

Attachment-1
Join Dr. Bob Ladner in a fascinating 8-week summer study of Romans, held on Sunday evenings from July 2 through August 27 in the Head Center from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The study focuses on the ties to Paul’s Jewish theological roots, the historical beginnings of Christian theologies for centuries to come, and the surprising theologies that Paul introduced in the earliest days of the Christian church. Paul’s letter to the Romans is the keystone of Christian doctrine. It is the basis for Augustine’s concept of Original Sin, it was the basis for Martin Luther’s doctrine of separation of church and state, it was the foundation of John Calvin’s theology of predestination, and we all know how important it was to John Wesley’s personal understanding of justification by faith! So come gain new perspective and insight!

All you need is your Bible, there is no other textbook required. Free week-by-week study guides available by email at ladner_r@bellsouth.net, or at the literature tables at all services or download Page 1 and Page 2 here.

When:

Sunday mornings, 9:30 a.m.

Coffee and donuts will be available by 9:15.

Where:  Room 203 of the Hanger Building
